Weller Hudson artist signed vase.

This 8" vase was masterfully decorated by Hester Pillsbury in the 1920's.  According to the Huxfords, "her tenure with Weller extended over many years, and her work is among the finest and most sought after."  The blue and cream semi-matt glaze shows overall fine crazing on close inspection but this does not detract from its beauty.  the piece shows some wear on the bottom, which bear the Weller half-kiln stamp.  Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.     (Stock # p-14-92536)
