| Gouda high glaze "Regina"
vase. Classic Dutch form on this 7" vase in the Ada pattern
(c.1917-1920). (Reference "The World of Gouda Pottery" by Phyllis T. Ritvo
1998.) Maker Regina was founded in 1898 but moved into art pottery in 1917 and is
described by Ritvo as a "jewel in the Gouda Pottery crown." The colors in
this piece include nice shades of purple flowers surrounded by rust leaves and green,
gold, teal and black worked into the design. Beautiful finish and condition with no
