Marie Christine Pavone, of Paris, France, produces these wonderful pins made out of galalith which is one of the oldest forms of plastic. The plastic is sanded, hand cut and polished for days in a rotating drum.  They are then dyed and hand polished some more before being hand decorated.  Her pieces are so charming, you can't help but smile when you see them.
