| Beautiful scenic Nippon cup and saucer or
trinket box featuring a lake scene with a sailboat, palm trees and mountains at either
sunrise or sunset. Raised slip decoration is applied for one of the palm trees on
each piece as well as some of the shrubbery. There is also raised
"beading" decoration on the rims and some raised enamel "jeweling" on
the handle. The cup stands nearly 2" tall and the saucer has about a 5 1/2
diameter. The cup bears the Nippon maple leaf mark in blue, the saucer is not
marked. Both cup and saucer are in very good condition with no chips,
hairlines or repairs, just a tiny glaze pop on the rim. (Stock
